SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Our Medical Assistant program combines flexible online learning with required in-person hands-on training. Students complete the Medical Assistant coursework online through our student website, where they will access PowerPoint lessons, course modules, assignments, quizzes, and tests. The program also includes our complete Phlebotomy program, allowing students to learn both Medical Assistant and blood-drawing skills in one program. What Is Included? Complete online Medical Assistant coursework Complete Phlebotomy program Required in-person clinical skills training Venipuncture training and live blood draws Instructor guidance and support Unlimited hands-on training and additional practice Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology Safety and infection control Clinical procedures Administrative responsibilities Order of draw and specimen handling How Does the Phlebotomy Portion Work? Students may complete the included Phlebotomy program either in person or online. In-Person Phlebotomy: Classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Morning classes are from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM, and evening classes are from 6:00 PM–8:00 PM. Online Phlebotomy: Complete the Phlebotomy coursework online from home and attend the academy for required hands-on venipuncture training. All Phlebotomy students must complete hands-on training in the classroom, whether they choose the in-person or online option. Students may also return on eligible training days for unlimited additional hands-on practice and instructor review. Tuition The complete Medical Assistant program, including Phlebotomy, is $1,250.
