SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Prepare for two healthcare careers with one affordable training bundle. Our EKG Technician and Phlebotomy Bundle includes both complete programs, required hands-on training, instructor guidance, and unlimited additional practice. Students may choose either the Online Bundle for $1,000 or the In-Person Bundle for $1,200. Online Bundle – $1,000 The Online EKG Technician and Phlebotomy Bundle allows students to complete the academic portions of both programs from home. After payment, students receive access to our program website, where they can complete PowerPoint lessons, course modules, assignments, quizzes, and tests for both programs. Students may study at their own pace and access their course materials at any time. What Is Included? EKG Technician Training Anatomy and physiology of the heart The heart’s electrical conduction system Medical terminology Patient preparation Electrode and lead placement Performing 12-lead EKGs Understanding heart rate and rhythm Recognizing common arrhythmias Identifying artifacts Phlebotomy Training Phlebotomy equipment and supplies Order of draw Venipuncture procedures Specimen collection and handling Laboratory practices Manikin-arm practice Live blood draws on people Required Hands-On Training Although the coursework is completed online, all students must attend required in-person hands-on training at the academy. Students will practice operating an EKG machine, placing electrodes, performing 12-lead EKGs, preparing blood-draw equipment, performing venipunctures, handling specimens, and completing live sticks under instructor supervision. Students may return on eligible classroom training days for unlimited additional hands-on practice, instructor support, and skill review at no additional cost. Online Bundle Tuition The Online EKG Technician and Phlebotomy Bundle is $1,000. Students may begin with a $400 down payment. In-Person Bundle – $1,200 Students may also complete both the EKG Technician and Phlebotomy programs through in-person classroom instruction. The In-Person Bundle includes classroom lessons, required hands-on training, EKG practice, venipuncture practice, live sticks, instructor guidance, and unlimited additional hands-on practice. The In-Person EKG Technician and Phlebotomy Bundle is $1,200. Students may begin with the same $400 down payment. In-person bundle dates may vary.
